Your aim of traveling is to pursue better financial prospects. Generally target countries with healthy economies and a population deficit. There are plenty of opportunities in places like that.
Check for cultural differences and language barrier. While you can still move to a country that speaks a different language or has a culture very different from yours, it is important to know what you are up against.
Not every country are welcoming to immigrants and you don’t want to go where you are not wanted, so be sure to investigate the official government policy and the informal attitude of the people’s towards immigrants.
Check the physical conditions of the place. Be familiar with the weather, their foods etc. You are better forewarned than not.
Racism. Some people are just horrible and some places have a collection of very horrible people. If you want to stay sane while pursuing your financial goals, avoid places where you will be discriminated against by everyone.
